Romania - France: together in Europe

The series of conferences " Romania - France: together in Europe" was launched in March 2007 and is run in partnership with the Embassy of France in Romania, and aims at defining a French-Romanian perspective upon the challenges of Romania's integration in the European Union.

Policies of Romania

The main objective of the series of debates "Policies of Romania", launched by the European Institute of Romania in 2008, is to bring forward on the European public agenda the themes tackled in the Strategy and Policy Studies - SPOS.

EIR monthly debates: Romania in Europe

The series "EIR monthly debates: Romania in Europe" continues in a new format the project of round tables, entitled "EIR Guests at Infoeuropa: Romania in Europe", run in 2006 and 2007 in partnership with the Infoeuropa Centre.

The initial project, financed by the Delegation/ Representation of the European Commission in Romania within its information and communication programme, consisted of a series of public debates which had as main theme the status of Romania as an EU Member State.

This project aimed, on one hand, to stimulate free discussions on European issues, generated by the recent developments at political, economic and institutional level and, on the other hand, to contribute in defining Romania's position and options with regard to the future political and institutional European architecture.
