Internship at the European Institute of Romania

The European Institute of Romania (EIR) offers final year undergraduates, master and PhD students from the Romanian universities the opportunity to participate in the internships organised in the units of EIR.

Throughout the entire period of the internship, the activity of each intern is coordinated by an adviser from the unit/service where the internship takes place. The internships are not paid. At the end of the internship, the intern receives a certificate outlining the activities carried out and the competencies acquired during the internship.

During the internship, the interns have the possibility to attend conferences, round tables or training courses organised by the European Institute of Romania (EIR) in cooperation with its partners.

Usually, the selection process takes place twice a year, and the process includes two stages: the eligibility check of the application dossier submitted by the applicant and the interview. The application dossiers will not include original documents, only copies. The dossiers will not be returned to the applicants in any of the selection stages. Prior to signing the agreement with EIR which specifies the duties and rights of the intern and EIR, successful applicants are required to provide a police certificate confirming the absence of any criminal record.
The personal details of the interns are included in the EIR database.
